BERN: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a written message to President Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation, concerning bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
The message was delivered by Ambassador Mahmoud bin Hamad al Hasani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Swiss Confederation, during his meeting with Ignazio Cassis, Vice President of the Federal Council and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, at the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bern.
During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty the Sultan to the Swiss President, wishing him continued health and happiness and expressing hope for continued progress and prosperity for the friendly people of Switzerland.
In turn, Vice President Ignazio Cassis conveyed the greetings of President Guy Parmelin to His Majesty the Sultan, along with his best wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Omani people. — ONA
